Alison House Hotel Weddings in Derbyshire

Alison House is a Georgian style House built by the Arkwright Family and set in the Derwent Valley world Heritage site. The marquee holds up to 140 seated guests and is located in the seven acres of grounds with beautiful gardens. The venue is in walking distance of Cromford and the cable cars of Matlock bath.

We have been providing marquee hire for weddings at Alison House since 2008. You can book Alison House as your wedding venue between April and October. A great feature of Alison House is that they are able to provide up to 16 AA 4* hotel rooms for your guests, along with wedding catering and bar services inside the marquee.

We have three rooms licensed for civil wedding ceremonies which hold up to 60 people. No two weddings are the same and each Bride and Grooms individual wishes and budget are catered for. As such there are no “packages". Instead you are able to create your own tailor made wedding.
